Each quilted vest is unique, carefully handcrafted using traditional hand blocking techniques. Skilled artisans carve the motifs into wooden blocks, which are then hand printed onto the fabric.

A specially carved block is required for each individual color element of the design.

Depending on the complexity of the pattern, the fine cotton fabric is stamped several times with the utmost precision, with each layer of color first having to dry in the sun before the next color element is stamped on. It is therefore not only labor-intensive but can also take several days until a motif is completely applied to the fabric.

This is how the typical, very individual patterns are created, which make each vest truly unique.
